■Working patterns can now be modified on the Gantt chart in Excel-like fashion.

You can edit calendars on the Gantt chart through copy and paste as well as direct input in Excel-like fashion. Shifts and resource quantity settings can also be entered on the Gantt chart or copied and pasted. This allows intuitive maintenance on the Gantt chart.

■Overwrite calendar

An overwrite calendar table allowing editing of working time without providing shifts has been added. Additions, modifications and deletions can also be made on the Gantt chart.

The added overwrite calendar can be moved and its time can be freely changed with the mouse. Adjustments that are difficult to register for shifts whose time is undecided, such as shown below, are now easy to do.

■Added new type “Continuous” to Group assign option

A new assignment type, “continuous”, has been added to the group assign option. This allows arbitrary grouped operations to be assigned consecutively on the same resources. The starting order of the grouped operations and the upper limit of the time interval between operations can also be specified. This makes it easier to plan campaign production as seen in the pharmaceutical and other industries.

■Multi-user simultaneous schedule : Exclusive control for each right to edit and object

An exclusive control function that prevents simultaneous editing of the same object by multiple planners when a schedule is edited by multiple persons has been added. To edit an object, the planner must first reserve the right to edit. If the right to edit is acquired by another user first, the planner must wait for the editing by that user to end. The planner can now know in real time who is editing objects.

■The order of objects whose properties are to be edited with the Modify Properties command can now be specified.

With the Modify Properties command, it is now possible to set the order of the objects whose properties are to be modified with a sort expression. Moreover, the order of execution when multiple property modifying expressions exist can be specified with the “Execution sequence” property. Until now, only “By expression” was available, but now “By object” can also be selected.

For example, to assign a number by earliest production start time to the starting order property (Work_StartingOrder) of the assigned operation for each resource, add an integer user property called ResourceUser_StartingOrder to the resource class and set it as follows.

■Records can now be sorted before exporting.

The data to be exported can now be sorted with the Export sort expression. For example, when exporting a CSV file to create a work instruction or the like, it is easy to create external work instructions externally by executing sorting with the sort expression and exporting.
